Genshin Impact Leak Teases Sandrone’s Release Window and Gameplay

A new leak from Genshin Impact is not only teasing the release window for Fatui Harbinger Sandrone, but also hinting at how she will play. The launch of Nod-Krai has looked to ramp up the story of the HoYoverse RPG with several factions converging on the region, including the Knights of Favonius, Fatui, and more. Version 6.0 has already teased numerous major characters finally making their first in-game appearance, including Columbina, Sandrone, and Varka among plenty others. Now, Genshin Impact fans are getting a better idea about one of Nod-Krai’s most highly-anticipated characters.

Among the litany of characters said to appear in Nod-Krai’s story, one of the game’s most fearsome factions has already featured two new members. Two new members of the Fatui’s Harbingers saw their first in-game appearance during the Archon Quest for Version 6.0, with Sandrone appearing at the Adventurer’s Guild and Columbina during a major story moment. Columbina is expected to play a major role in the overarching story for Nod-Krai, linked to the region as the “Moon Maiden” goddess that the Frostmoon Scions worship. A recent leak is now hinting at when Sandrone will join the roster.

Genshin Impact Leak Hints at Sandrone Release Date and Gameplay

A recent leak shared by prominent Genshin Impact leaker HXG via fellow leaker Full Stop Chan is giving some major hints about Sandrone’s playability in Genshin Impact. According to the post, Sandrone is currently expected to release sometime later in the Nod-Krai cycle, said to be a “main focus character” for the region. HXG compares Sandrone to several important and meta-defining characters from Honkai: Star Rail, including Castorice and Phainon, suggesting she will be a core character for many teams. The post also gives a hint at her gameplay, teasing that she will utilize “Lunar-Crystallize” Elemental Reactions.

While the post does not give any clarifications to how Lunar-Crystallize will work, Sandrone’s unique Lunar Reaction could reveal what her Element will be. Crystallize is primarily associated with the Geo element within Genshin Impact, suggesting Sandrone will most likely debut as a Geo character within Genshin Impact. Geo currently serves as Genshin Impact‘s most under-represented element, with only 12 Geo roster members and not seeing a new Geo character since Xilonen in Version 5.1. The Sandrone leaks do not provide a specific patch for her full release.

Sandrone’s Genshin Impact debut is expected to be joined by her fellow starring Fatui Harbinger during the game’s Nod-Krai cycle. Columbina has seen several rumors about her eventual playability in Genshin Impact, with leaks suggesting she will likely release during Version 6.3 in what would traditionally be the region’s “Archon” slot. HoYoverse has also already confirmed one new character coming during the game’s Version 6.1 update, with Nefer set to join the roster. Genshin Impact fans should have lots to look forward to with a plethora of exciting character releases on the way.
